About the player
Tamara Bolt grew up in Salvador, in the Brazilian state of Bahia, before playing for EC Bahia and then Internacional, where she became a regular fixture in attack. Across her time at the Porto Alegre club she scored between eight and ten goals in roughly fifty league appearances.
Her move abroad came in January 2025, when Washington Spirit signed her from Internacional on a one-year contract with club options stretching to 2027, for an undisclosed fee. Rather than heading straight into the NWSL squad, she was loaned out the following month to Dallas Trinity FC in the USL Super League. That loan spell tested her in a new league and a new role: she made 26 to 27 appearances, with a single goal.
Washington Spirit took up their option on her contract for 2026 in June 2025, confirming she is expected back at the club for the coming NWSL season.
