Williams Héctor Alarcón Cepeda

Williams Alarcón made his professional debut for Colo-Colo in the Chilean Primera División in December 2018. Over three seasons he made 42 appearances for the club and won the Copa Chile and the Supercopa de Chile in 2019.

A loan to Unión La Calera turned into a permanent move once the club exercised its purchase option, and a spell at UD Ibiza in Spain's Segunda División followed, ending in relegation. It was at Huracán, from August 2023, that Alarcón became a regular contributor, scoring five goals and adding seven assists in 54 appearances, including a brace against Banfield and a goal in the clásico against San Lorenzo.

That form led Boca Juniors to sign him in January 2025 for a reported USD 3 million covering 80% of his sporting rights, in a deal that also cancelled a debt Huracán owed the club from an earlier transfer. He was presented at Boca later that month. Alarcón has also represented Chile at senior level, making his debut in a friendly against Morocco in September 2022, and has since collected caps in World Cup qualifying matches against Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil. He had earlier played for Chile's under-23 side at the 2019 Toulon Tournament.
