Arbon

It has stayed the club's home through every swing in fortune since a group of youths founded HC Arbon in 1968 under their first president, Martin Muther.

The rise came later, under Max Glättli, when membership numbers pushed the club into the top four handball clubs in the country by the 1979/80 season. The debut season was brutal — twelve losses became twenty-two, no wins at all, 743 goals conceded against 504 scored — but it also gave the club its clearest individual highlight, with line player Björn Fröhlich scoring 147 goals in 26 games. Three seasons at the top ended in relegation in 2013, and HC Arbon dropped as far as the fourth tier before building its way back to the Nationalliga B for 2023/24.

The one fixture that still sharpens focus is the derby against SG Fides/Otmar St.
