Orbi

Zviad Didbaridze does two jobs that meet at Orbi: he coaches the club's women's academy and the Georgian women's national team. He is also, with Nino Kipshidze, the founder of the club.

Orbi is a Tbilisi club that grew up on two tracks. Alongside the men's side it runs a youth academy and a women's team, and that work is why Didbaridze's name comes up more often than any player's. The club has not produced an academy graduate with an international reputation.

The men's result that matters most came in 2023, when Orbi won the Georgian A-League. That is the second tier of Georgian basketball, and the title carried promotion to the Georgian Super League. It remains the club's only major honour.

Orbi now plays in the Super League and enters the Georgian Cup. It has won neither. The men's squad in 2025 included Beqa Lomashvili, Ilia Londaridze and the imports Bryan Bayonne and Nikola Djuric. Their local opponents are other Tbilisi sides such as BC TSU, but those games have no derby label of their own. For a club that reached the top flight only three years ago, the task in this league is to keep its place.
