The Ice Palace in Tyumen holds 3,350 people. Renovation work pushed Rubin out to the Ice Dome "Partikom," and the plan is to come home for the 2026/2027 season.
Under that roof the team has gone by three names. It started as Vodnik in 1959, became Rubin in 1972, then Gazovik in 2001 after a merger, before a fan vote in 2010 restored the name Rubin.
Rubin took the VHL regular season, the Eastern Conference and the Bratina Cup in 2011. They repeated as regular-season and conference winners in 2012, and the Bratina Cup came back to Tyumen in 2022. As Gazovik, the club had already been champions of the Higher League in 1999/2000.
