Holon Toto Hall: Stadium in Holon

The Holon Toto Hall presents itself as a modern monument to function rather than spectacle.

Inside, the arena distinguishes itself with a natural wood parquet court, the standard surface for professional basketball. With a capacity listed at 5,500 seats for basketball, the venue feels intimate compared to the sprawling multi-purpose centres that serve larger cities. The space has evolved since it was officially inaugurated in March 2015, when it hosted an Israeli Basketball All-Star game that ended 121:122 in overtime.

Hapoel Holon B.C., the local professional club, calls this ground home. They arrive here prepared to turn it on against opponents in the Israeli Basketball Premier League and the Basketball Champions League. The team’s regular attendance hovers around 3,500 spectators, a steady presence that fills the arena without overwhelming it. The venue also opens its doors for cultural events, having hosted a Till Lindemann concert on New Year’s Day 2022 and various television show finales.
