Hapoel Holon Women

The first league title came in 1991, and it came as part of a double. That season the side played as Elitzur Tel Aviv/Holon, after a merger with Elitzur Tel Aviv, and won both the league and the cup. The Holon side then kept the league title through 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995, and won it a sixth time in 1997. Officially the club is Elitzur Holon, a separate legal entity from the men's club, Hapoel Holon, though the two work closely together.

The women's team dates from 1971. Its European record is thinner. In 1993–94 it reached the quarter-finals of the FIBA Women's European Champions Cup and lost to Ginnastica Comense. Then came a gap of some 20 years before the club returned to the EuroCup Women in 2021–22. That return ended in the qualifying round against Hatayspor. A year later the team came through the group stage and reached the round of 16, where it met Umana Reyer Venezia. Holon won the first leg 83–68 and lost the second 77–60.

The State Cup has produced finals but not the trophy in the facts at hand. Elitzur Ramla were the opponents in 1996/97, and the club reached another final in 2025/26. In the league, its main rivals are Maccabi Ashdod and Elitzur Tel Aviv, the club it once merged with.

In 2018 the team changed its colours to purple and yellow, matching Hapoel Holon, so that the city's supporters would follow one set of colours. The Leopards now play at the Holon Toto Hall, a 5,500-seat arena that they share with the men's team.
