Shakhtyor dominated the set pieces, winning five corners to Minsk II's three, and kept their discipline with just one yellow card compared to the visitors' clean sheet. Both sides had no offsides and no red cards, so the game stayed even on those fronts.

The win moves Shakhtyor Soligorsk further clear in seventh place on 39 points from 26 games, while Minsk II remain 13th on 30. The gap now stands at nine points, and the visitors have only five matches left to close it.
