About the player
Aaron Comrie came through Celtic's academy, joining at the age of nine after starting out at Woodside Boys Club in Glenrothes. He was released by the Glasgow club in 2015 without making a senior appearance, and moved to St Johnstone the same year. Two loan spells followed, at Montrose and then Peterhead, before he made his senior debut for St Johnstone in August 2016.
Comrie left St Johnstone in 2019 and joined Dunfermline Athletic, making more than 200 appearances across all competitions over six seasons at the Fife club. He departed Dunfermline in the summer of 2025, and after a trial at Crawley Town that did not lead to a contract, he signed for Greenock Morton in September 2025.
His stay at Cappielow proved brief. In June 2026, Comrie moved to Hamilton Academical on a free transfer, agreeing a contract that runs until the summer of 2028. A right-back by trade, though he was listed as a goalkeeper in some of his youth records.
