Cameron Blues

Cameron Blues has spent his career building a case for himself away from the bigger stages of Scottish football, working his way up from a Falkirk academy captain to a Championship regular. He captained Falkirk's under-20s before signing his first professional contract there in 2016, making his senior debut that October, though his early years were shaped more by loan spells than by first-team football at his parent clubs.

A move to Livingston in 2018 never produced a single league appearance for the senior side; instead, Blues was farmed out to Brechin City, Berwick Rangers and, finally, Greenock Morton, where a short loan in the summer of 2019 turned into a permanent deal that September. It proved to be the making of him. Over the following years he became a fixture in Morton's midfield, passing 100 appearances for the club in March 2023 and 200 in April 2025, a milestone reached by only a handful of players in the club's history. His form peaked in December 2024, when two goals and an assist across four matches earned him the William Hill Scottish Championship Player of the Month award. He also featured in play-off semi-finals with Morton in 2020–21 and 2023–24, though the club fell short of promotion on both occasions.

In June 2026, Blues moved on a free transfer to Hamilton Academical, subject to SFA approval, taking the number 6 shirt at his new club.
