Alpha Richard Diounkou Tecagne

Right-back Alpha Richard Diounkou Tecagne was born in Sindone, Senegal, and holds dual Senegalese and Spanish nationality. He came through the youth ranks at Son Cladera and RCD Mallorca before Manchester City's academy signed him in 2016, and it was from City that he moved to Granada CF in August 2021 to begin his senior career.

Granada sent him out on three separate loans to develop, with thirteen appearances at San Fernando CD in his first season away, thirty-nine at FC Barcelona Atlètic the year after, and thirty-one more at AEK Larnaca in Cyprus. He joined AC Omonia Nicosia on 1 July 2024, wearing the number 20 shirt he had also worn at Larnaca.

At Omonia, Diounkou helped the club to the Cypriot First Division title in the 2025–26 season before leaving Cyprus for NK Celje in Slovenia as a free agent in July 2026, keeping the same squad number.

His representative career has spanned two countries. He played four times for Spain's under-17 side in 2018, then represented Senegal at under-20 level the following year, winning five caps and featuring at the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Senegal's senior set-up called him up in May 2022 for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, though he has yet to win his first senior cap.
