Adrien Hunou

Adrien Hunou first made his name for Clermont Foot 63 on loan, spending the 2014–2015 and 2015–2016 seasons there and leaving with 47 appearances and 11 goals before returning to parent club Stade Rennais. He had come through Rennes' academy after joining in 2010, was voted the club's best youth player for the 2011–2012 season, and made his professional debut in August 2013. He stayed at Rennes until 2021, a spell that brought a Coupe de France title in 2018–2019 and top scorer honours in the 2017–2018 Coupe de la Ligue.

In April 2021, Hunou moved to Minnesota United as a Designated Player, a transfer reported at around €3.3 million. He made 35 appearances for the MLS club, scoring seven goals, before being sold to Angers SCO in June 2022 for a reported €1.5 million. He signed a three-year deal with Angers and went on to make 58 appearances for the club.

In June 2025, Hunou returned to Clermont Foot 63 on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract that runs until 2027.

At international level, Hunou represented France through the youth ranks, from the under-18s up to the under-22s, captaining the under-20 side and winning the Toulon Tournament with the under-22 team in 2015. He has not been capped by the senior national side.
