In 2026, Portuguese club Famalicão put 800,000 euros on the table for Andrej Pavlović. OFK Beograd said no. By August 2026 his market value sat at around 1.9 million euros.

He came up through Crvena Zvezda, joining the academy at 15 and spending his development years in the club's U19 side and at feeder club Grafičar, where he collected minutes in youth football. In October 2024 he left on a free transfer for OFK Beograd, and made his competitive debut for his new club during the 2024/25 season.

The following campaign was the one that changed things. Pavlović played 26 Serbian SuperLiga matches in 2025/26 and became a fixture in the back line, wearing number 4. He has added four league appearances in 2026/27. Across 30 official matches for the club he has yet to score, and has picked up three yellow cards.

Serbia have used him through the youth ranks. Four friendlies with the U18s, three of them in 2024 and one in 2025. Then four matches with the U19s: two in qualifying for the 2027 European Championship and two in the final tournament stage. He was a national champion at U17 level.

What Famalicão were bidding for is a 190-centimetre right-footed defender who went from reserve-team football to a full SuperLiga season in the space of about eighteen months.
