About the player
Astrakhan raised Artem Pogosov through the Volgar academy, and he made his senior debut for the club in July 2018 during a first spell that ran to 2022, when he left for Ufa on a free transfer. Left-footed and used as an attacking midfielder or winger, he made 29 league appearances for Ufa before a loan to Akron Tolyatti in the 2023–2024 season: Pogosov scored in the playoff matches against Ural in June 2024, helping Akron secure promotion to the Russian Premier League.
