About the player
Antonio Luci Šokčević came back to Kapfenberg for the 2026/27 season. In September 2026 he had made seven league appearances since his return and scored once.
His route to the club ran through several academies. He started at FC Purkersdorf, then moved to the Rapid Wien academy. AKA Burgenland followed, and then a year in the youth setup of Lokomotiva Zagreb. In August 2021 he joined Kapfenberger SV's senior squad and made his 2. Liga debut the same month.
That first spell lasted until the 2023/24 season. He made 27 league appearances for the first team and played 13 games for the club's second side. He left in January 2024, returned briefly in the spring, and left for good when the season ended.
The next stretch took him abroad and back again. In January 2025 he signed for NK Dugopolje in the Croatian second division, where he played one league match. That summer he went to SC Wiener Viktoria in the Regionalliga East. It was his most productive season in the senior game: 28 league appearances and five goals in 2025/26.
The move back to Kapfenberg followed that season. His second spell at the club is still in its opening weeks.
