Aleksey Zaleskiy

Aleksey Zaleskiy came through Dynamo Minsk's academy but managed just two appearances for the first team before loan spells took over his early career, first at Berezha-2010 and then at Slutsk. A move to Vitebsk followed, before a loan at Luch Minsk in 2018 and then a switch to Dnepr.

His career since has been defined by movement between clubs rather than settling anywhere for long. Minsk took him in 2020, and in 2021 he left Belarus for Kazakhstan's Kaspiy. He returned to Belarus in 2022 to join Torpedo-BelAZ, then went back to Kaspiy for a short spell in 2023 before rejoining Torpedo-BelAZ.

That Torpedo-BelAZ stint brought the most tangible success of his career: a Belarusian Super Cup in 2024 and back-to-back bronze medals in the national championship in 2023 and 2024. In 2025 he moved on a free transfer to ML Vitebsk, before returning once more to Torpedo-BelAZ.

At youth level, Zaleskiy represented Belarus at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, scoring once across 24 appearances for the Under-21s. A senior cap never came, despite what he has described as four or five call-ups to the full national side — each time, he has said, injury picked up in the days before the match ruled him out before he could travel.
