About the player
Anders Hellblom was born in Västerås. He started out at Gideonsbergs IF before joining the Västerås SK academy in 2017 at the age of 14, working his way through the youth ranks there. He made his senior debut for Västerås SK in the Superettan on 1 May 2021, coming off the bench in a 1-1 draw against Örgryte IS.
To gain regular football, Västerås SK sent him on loan to IFK Eskilstuna, where he spent time in Division 2 and made 38 appearances, scoring five goals. He stayed at Västerås SK until 2024, when he moved on a free transfer to FC Stockholm Internazionale, then known as FC Stockholm. The switch paid off quickly: he was part of the side that won the Ettan Norra title and went up to the Superettan, making 59 appearances and scoring once along the way.
In February 2026, Hellblom signed for Allsvenskan club IK Brage, again as a free agent, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal that runs to the end of 2028. By the middle of 2026 he had passed 120 senior league appearances and seven goals across his career.
