Ar'jany Martha

Ar'jany Martha was born in Rotterdam and came through the Ajax academy, working his way up via Jong Ajax before making his senior debut for AFC Ajax in November 2023. Over the 2023–24 season he featured in the first team across the Eredivisie and Europa League, before leaving on a free transfer for Beerschot in the Belgian Pro League in July 2024.

A left-footed defender who has also been used on the right wing, Martha moved to Rotherham United in July 2025 for a reported fee of around €300,000. He made 41 league appearances during the 2025–26 season along with outings in the EFL Cup, EFL Trophy and FA Cup, scoring in both league and cup competition. In September 2026, after losing his place under Rotherham's new management, he joined SC Telstar on loan for the 2026–27 season, with an option to buy included in the deal.

Martha represented the Netherlands at youth level before switching his international allegiance to Curaçao in 2024. He scored a long-range free-kick in a 7-0 World Cup qualifying win over Bermuda. His form was rewarded with selection in Curaçao's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the country's first appearance at the tournament.
