Asmir Suljić

Born in Srebrenica, he began at FK Sarajevo before a €150,000 move took him to Újpest FC in 2013, where he won the Magyar Kupa and the Szuperkupa. Two years later Videoton FC (later Fehérvár) paid €500,000 for him, and in 2017–18 he helped the club to the Nemzeti Bajnokság I title.

From there his path widened rather than settled. A free transfer took him to NK Olimpija Ljubljana, where he added a Slovenian Cup in 2018–19, after a contract with Wisła Kraków had been cancelled before he played a single match. Spells followed at Zagłębie Lubin, Maccabi Petah Tikva and Diósgyőri VTK, before a second stint at FK Sarajevo brought him back to where he started. A short stay at FC Tobol in Kazakhstan produced a Kazakhstan Cup win in 2023, and a move to FK Velež Mostar followed the same year.

His travels then took him further still, to Punjab FC in India, where he made 23 appearances and contributed four goals and four assists before leaving in the summer of 2025. A season at Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia in Hungary produced 17 league appearances. He joined FK Radnički 1923 Kragujevac on a free transfer in July 2026.

Suljić earned one cap for Bosnia and Herzegovina's under-21 side in 2012, against Greece. He acquired a Hungarian passport in 2017 but never represented the senior national team.
