About the player
Bas Pennock spent eight years in the Willem II academy without making the step up to the first team, leaving the Tilburg club in 2024. He moved on to NAC Breda, where he spent a season with the under-21 side, again without a senior appearance to his name.
The breakthrough came in July 2025, when Pennock signed his first professional contract, joining Almere City on a free transfer and starting out with the reserve side, Jong Almere City, in the Tweede Divisie. He made himself a regular there, appearing 26 times in the 2025–2026 season as a centre-back, also capable of playing at left-back.
On 1 July 2026, Pennock was promoted to Almere City's first team. He has since made his debut in the Eerste Divisie.
Pennock has not yet been capped by the Netherlands at senior level.
