About the player
Kaspiy's promotion in 2019 and the club's relegation four years later bracket much of Bekzat Kabylan 's career, and he was there for both.
Recognition came early. He was still there in 2019, when Kaspiy finished runners-up in the First Division and won promotion. He made his Premier League debut in July 2020, after that promotion.
In the second half of 2022 he went on loan to Turan in Turkistan. He played 13 league games there, scored twice and appeared in five cup matches. Then he returned to Kaspiy.
The return coincided with a difficult stretch. Kaspiy dropped back into the First Division after the 2023/2024 season, and Kabylan stayed and remained a key player rather than leaving with the club down. His contract runs to the end of 2026.
At 162 centimetres he is a small figure in midfield. Right foot is his preferred side, though some sources describe him as comfortable with both.
