About the player
Noha Ndombasi finished the 2026 Kazakhstan Premier League season as the top scorer of Kaspiy Aktau, with six league goals in 25 appearances. He had arrived on a free transfer on 4 March 2026, and in July the club extended his contract, originally due to run to the end of 2026, until the end of 2027.
His route to Kazakhstan was an unusual one. He started in the youth system of Bordeaux, then moved to Spain and spent three years with Valencia Mestalla, scoring four goals in 30 matches. He never signed a professional contract with Valencia's first team. That came in September 2022 at FC St. Gallen in Switzerland, where he made 12 appearances without scoring.
A return to France followed in 2023, with US Concarneau in Ligue 2. He played 26 matches there, scored twice and provided one assist. In September 2024 he signed for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine, again as a free agent, and stayed until early 2026. Every one of his professional moves has been on a free transfer.
Before all of that, he played for France at youth level: six caps for the under-16s, one for the under-17s and one for the under-18s.
