About the player
Ben Zich came through Fortuna Düsseldorf's academy before a spell at Wuppertaler SV, then joined Borussia Mönchengladbach's youth setup in 2019. His path to senior football ran through the reserves: four appearances for Mönchengladbach II in the Regionalliga West in 2022-23, then a free move to Fortuna Düsseldorf II, where he made 33 appearances. He was included in Fortuna Düsseldorf's first-team squad in May 2025 but did not feature for the senior side.
He joined Roda JC Kerkrade on loan, wearing the number 21 shirt as the club's second-choice goalkeeper.
He has not been capped by Germany at any level.
