Charles Marc De Ketelaere

De Ketelaere joined Club Brugge's youth academy at just seven years old, and by September 2019 he was already making his senior debut for the club. Three Belgian Pro League titles in a row followed, in 2019–20, 2020–21 and 2021–22, along with the Belgian Super Cup in 2021. Individual recognition came alongside the team success — he was named Belgian Promising Talent of the Year in 2020, took the Best Youngster of the Belgian Pro League award in both 2020 and 2021, and was voted Belgian Young Professional Footballer of the Year for 2021–22.

That form took him to AC Milan in August 2022 for a fee reported at around €35 million. His time in Milan did not run smoothly, and a year later he moved on loan to Atalanta, a switch that included an option to buy. Atalanta made that move permanent in June 2024. In his first season at the club he helped Atalanta win the UEFA Europa League. He was named Atalanta's Player of the Month twice that year, in February and November, and picked up the Golden Shoe for Best Belgian Abroad in 2024.

At international level, De Ketelaere made his senior debut for Belgium in November 2020 against Switzerland, with 35 caps and nine goals to his name. He was directly involved in some of Belgium's biggest recent moments, scoring twice against the United States and once against Spain during the 2026 World Cup.
