Clément Billemaz

Clément Billemaz was born in Lyon and came up through the youth system at FC Villefranche before making his senior debut there, playing seven league matches. His career then took shape at Dijon FCO's reserve side, where two productive seasons across 59 appearances included 18 goals. A move to Louhans-Cuiseaux in Championnat National 2 followed, and it was there that Billemaz found his best form: 14 goals in 45 league appearances, with 11 of those coming in the 2021–2022 season alone, a return that made him the club's top scorer.

That season persuaded FC Annecy to sign him on a free transfer in May 2022, and he arrived just as the club secured promotion to Ligue 2 as runners-up in the Championnat National. Billemaz has since gone on to make more than a hundred league appearances for Annecy, becoming a fixture of a side that reached the semi-finals of the Coupe de France in 2022–2023, a run that saw them eliminate Paris FC and Olympique de Marseille along the way.

In the 2025–2026 Ligue 2 BKT season, Billemaz recorded eight assists, placing him fourth in the division's assist charts behind Adeline of Troyes, Jean-Lambert of Rodez and Boakye of AS Saint-Étienne. Neither he nor Annecy has collected major individual or team honours during his time at the club, whose focus since promotion has been on establishing itself in Ligue 2 rather than chasing silverware.
