About the player
Daniel Au Yeong It was the first of five youth caps: he later played once for the under-17s, in 2019, and three times for the under-19s in 2021.
He was born in Eindhoven but came through the Austrian system, starting at the AKA Vorarlberg academy, where he played for the under-15 and under-16 sides between 2017 and 2019. In 2019 he moved abroad to SC Freiburg, and over three years there he played for the under-17 and under-19 teams.
He returned to Austria in 2022 to join the senior squad of FK Austria Wien II, and stayed for a year. The 2023–24 season took him to SV Stripfing/Weiden on loan, and that spell led to his next move. In July 2024 he joined Austria Lustenau on a free transfer, with no fee reported.
Au Yeong plays mainly on the left wing, and he has also been used as a more central attacker.
