About the player
Philipp Böhm made his way into professional football through the youth ranks at SSV Jahn Regensburg before moving on to senior football with VfB Eichstätt, where he made 24 league appearances between 2023 and 2024. That run of regular football earned him a free transfer to Dynamo Dresden in July 2024, but the step up to 3. Liga did not bring the same playing time: at Dresden he was third-choice goalkeeper behind Domenik Schierl and Hugo Bauer, and made just one appearance across the 2024/25 season.
When his contract in Dresden expired, Böhm signed for SC Austria Lustenau as a free agent in June 2025, once again in a backup role behind Schierl in the Austrian Bundesliga. He was included in the squad for the 2025/26 ÖFB Cup tie against Kapfenberg SV, a match Austria Lustenau lost 0-2.
