About the player
Devin Lynch arrived at Denver Summit FC with almost no professional minutes to her name, which made her start in the club's inaugural match all the more notable. She had spent the previous four years at Duke University, where she developed into a defensive midfielder trusted to sit in front of the back line, and her numbers there tell the story: 81 appearances, 13 goals and 17 assists across her collegiate career. The 2024 season stood out in particular, when she produced 7 goals and 10 assists as Duke won the ACC Regular Season title and reached the NCAA Semifinals, a run the Blue Devils repeated in 2025 after also making the Quarterfinals back in 2022.
Alongside her college commitments, Lynch played in the USL W League for River Light FC, where in 2024 she scored 6 goals and added 2 assists in 761 minutes.
Her move to Denver Summit FC came as a free signing on a one-year deal, agreed after she graduated from Duke, and she has since made 4 league appearances for the expansion side. Internationally, Lynch's involvement with the United States has so far stayed at youth level: she earned 4 caps for the U-17 team in 2019 and received call-ups to the U-15 and U-16 squads, without yet featuring for the senior USWNT.
