About the player
Natalie Means arrived at Denver Summit FC as a rookie ahead of the club's first NWSL season, having spent her college years at Georgetown, where she left as a unanimous First Team All-Big East selection in 2025 after also making the first team in 2023 and 2024. She was a fixture for the Hoyas throughout, starting all 23 matches in her final season and contributing 10 goals and 6 assists from the back line, and she left with a Big East Championship medal from 2023.
Means signed with Denver Summit in January 2026, and her first professional goal did not take long to arrive: a late winner against the Portland Thorns on 18 July 2026. For a defender, that combination — a productive attacking record in college and an early match-winning contribution as a professional — has been the clearest thread running through her move into the league.
She has also taken part in identification training with United States youth national teams.
