About the player
Daylam Meddah grew up playing for ES du Mont-Gaillard before Le Havre's Cavée Verte academy took him in, keeping him until he signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2019. Two seasons with Le Havre's reserve side, a move to Angers SCO's second team where a goal in thirteen appearances earned him a call-up to the senior Ligue 1 squad in January 2022, though a competitive debut never came. Spells at Sochaux and then Caen followed, with 21 senior appearances and a goal in Ligue 2.
The turning point came in February 2025, when Caen loaned him to Pau FC. He recovered to become a regular starter, and Pau exercised the option to make the move permanent that May on a two-year contract. He was a fixture in the side, making 25 appearances and scoring in Ligue 2, and in October 2025 supporters voted him Pau FC's Player of the Start of the Season.
Meddah holds French and Moroccan nationality and has Algerian descent, though he has not represented any of the three at senior international level.
