Diego Živulić

Diego Živulić came through the academy at HNK Rijeka, spending loan spells at NK Orijent 1919 and NK Pomorac before leaving Croatia altogether in 2014 for Fastav Zlín. It was in the Czech Republic that his career found its shape: 60 appearances and four goals for Zlín, and a Czech First League title to his collection in 2017–18.

From there his path wound through Cyprus with Pafos FC, into Poland with Śląsk Wrocław — where he first had to establish himself with the reserve side before breaking into the Ekstraklasa team — and on through Hungary, North Macedonia and Slovenia in quick succession.

His longest spell abroad came at Oțelul Galați in Romania, where he joined in January 2023 and stayed three years, racking up 116 competitive appearances and three goals, and finishing as a runner-up in the Cupa României in 2023–24. A brief return to Croatia with NK Rudeš in 2026 was short-lived; by August that year he had signed for East Bengal FC in India ahead of the 2026–27 Indian Super League season.

At youth level, Živulić represented Croatia six times for the under-18s in 2010 and fourteen times for the under-19s across 2010 and 2011, a period that also brought individual recognition as best player at the Kvarnerska Rivijera youth tournament.
