David Schramm

David Schramm's route into professional football has run entirely through one club. Born in Trier, he started out at SV Wiltingen before moving to Eintracht Trier, then joined 1. FC Kaiserslautern's academy in 2018, working his way up through the youth ranks. A defensive midfielder by trade, he stands 184 cm tall and plays right-footed.

His clearest mark on the club's youth history came in June 2023, when he started and provided an assist in a 5:1 playoff win over SV Wehen Wiesbaden that sent Kaiserslautern's U17 side up to the B-Junioren-Bundesliga Süd/Südwest. By mid-2026 he had made around 68 appearances across FCK's various teams, contributing three goals and three assists, and was named the reserve side's MVP in the Regionalliga Südwest.

Schramm made his first-team debut in the 2. Bundesliga on 2 May 2026, coming on as a substitute away at SG Dynamo Dresden in a match Kaiserslautern lost 0–1. He was taken off again in the 78th minute with muscular problems. Two months later, in July 2026, he signed his first professional contract, which the club moved to extend early.

Schramm plays for Germany at youth level. A nationality mix-up briefly linked him to Ghana in one database, but his club and other official records confirm he represents Germany only.
