Dmytro Nepogodov

Dmytro Nepogodov is a Kyiv-born goalkeeper who ended up representing Kazakhstan. He took Kazakhstani citizenship in 2018, keeping his Ukrainian one, and won 13 caps for the national side before 2020.

His route began in the Kyiv youth system, with spells at Dynamo Kyiv, Smena-Obolon and Otradny. From 2005 he was in the youth setup at Olympique Marseille, and he stayed on for his first senior season there. He then moved to Metalurh Donetsk and went on loan to Banants in Yerevan in 2011.

His longest stay in Ukraine was at Vorskla Poltava, from 2012 to 2017. He made 61 appearances for the club and conceded 68 goals.

The move to Kazakhstan came in 2017, when he joined Tobol in Kostanay. Tobol finished third in the Premier League in 2018. In 2019 he went on loan to Ordabasy and was named the league's best goalkeeper, which also earned him a place in the Team of the Year. Astana took him on permanently after that season. He played 34 times for the club and won the Kazakhstan Super Cup in 2020. In 2021 he reached 100 appearances in the Kazakhstan Premier League.

He returned to Tobol in 2022. He then went back to Ukraine, playing for Chornomorets Odesa and then Podillya Khmelnytskyi, where he stayed until 2025. In February 2025 he signed for Ulytau.
