About the player
Stanislav Shcherbakov was named best goalkeeper when the FK Taraz under-20 side won the Kazakhstan championship for football centres and academies in 2018.
A product of the Taraz academy, he made his senior debut for the club's reserve team, Taraz-Karatau, in the First Division. He stayed on its books from 2019 to 2022. In 2020 he was sent on loan to Maktaaral, where he spent the full season, before returning to Taraz for 2021 as an academy graduate included in the senior squad.
He was still with Taraz in 2023 and 2024, playing for the first team in the First Division. That path ended in January 2025, when he joined Ulytau as a free agent. His contract with the club runs until the end of 2026.
Shcherbakov has not yet won a title in the Kazakhstan Premier League or the Kazakhstan Cup, and has not played for the senior national team.
