About the player
Rinat Serikkul's route to the Kazakhstan Premier League ran through the second tier. After several years in the youth system of Akademiya Ontustik in Shymkent, where he played for the club and its reserve side from 2019 to 2023, he moved to Jetisay in the First League at the start of 2024. That season gave him the platform for everything that followed.
In January 2026 he joined Ulytau, again on a free transfer; the club announced the signing on 15 January.
Serikkul plays in central midfield or in a more advanced role behind the forwards. He is a right-footed player who stands 183 cm tall.
His international experience so far has come with the youth teams. In 2024 he played once for the Kazakhstan Under-20 side in a friendly, and he made his Under-21 debut on 6 June that year against Georgia. He has won four caps at Under-21 level. He has not yet appeared for the senior national team.
