About the player
Emirhan Acar has played for two national teams at youth level. He made four appearances for Austria's under-18s in 2022. He had already represented Turkey's under-17s, and he was later called up to the Turkey under-21 squad in 2026.
He then moved to the AKA Tirol academy and played for its under-16 and under-18 sides until June 2022.
That summer he left Austria for Torino, joining the club's youth set-up on a free transfer. He scored six goals in 24 games for the under-18s in his first season, one in 12 for the under-19s the year after, and six in 32 for the under-20s in the Primavera 2 in 2024/25. He did not make a senior appearance for Torino in Serie A.
In July 2025 he signed a three-year contract with Bandırmaspor of the 1. Lig, again on a free transfer. It was his first season of senior football, and he played 27 matches, scoring three goals and setting up two. He is a left-footed central midfielder, though some accounts describe him as comfortable on either foot.
He has since moved on to BB Erzurumspor.
