He joined the Palmeiras academy at eleven, and when he stepped onto the pitch against Coritiba in October 2022, he became the youngest player and youngest goalscorer in the club's history. Two Campeonato Brasileiro Série A titles followed, along with two Campeonato Paulista championships and the Supercopa do Brasil, and individually he collected the Samba Gold as best young player and the Bola de Prata revelation award.

Real Madrid moved for him in December 2022, but FIFA regulations meant he could not join the Spanish club until he turned eighteen. He signed a contract running to 2030 and arrived in Madrid on his birthday in July 2024. The wait for the move barely showed: on his La Liga debut against Real Valladolid a month later, he scored in stoppage time and became the youngest foreign goalscorer in the competition's history for the club.

He has since become a regular presence for Brazil, with goals against England, Spain and Mexico among his tally for the senior side. Minutes at club level have been harder to come by, and in December 2025 he moved to Olympique Lyonnais on loan for the second half of the season. He marked the switch with a hat-trick in Ligue 1 against Metz.
