Florian Ayé

Florian Ayé is a Paris-born forward who worked his way up through a string of amateur clubs — CS Quincy, US Moissy-Cramayel and CS Brétigny — before AJ Auxerre took him into its academy in 2012. He broke into Auxerre's first team in 2015 and spent three seasons shuttling between Ligue 2 and the reserve side.

That instinct in front of goal showed fully at Clermont Foot, where he scored 18 times in 38 Ligue 2 appearances during the 2018–2019 season, a return that persuaded Brescia to sign him for a fee in the region of €2 million. Before he returned to France with Auxerre in 2023. That second spell at the club ended in the Ligue 2 title, with promotion back to Ligue 1 secured in 2023–2024.

Ayé moved to Switzerland in August 2024, joining Servette FC for a fee of around €500,000. He scored 11 goals in 26 league appearances for the club.

His international story belongs to the France youth setup rather than the senior side: he was capped at U16, U18, U19 and U20 level, and was part of the France squad that won the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, beating Italy 4–0 in the final. He has not played for the senior French national team, though his heritage leaves him eligible to represent Benin.
