Florent Sanchez Da Silva

Florent Sanchez Da Silva came through the Olympique Lyonnais academy, having joined the club's youth ranks in 2010 after starting out at US Meyzieu. He stayed within the Lyon system for over a decade, signing his first professional contract in December 2020 and going on to make 33 appearances for Lyon's reserve side between 2019 and 2024, scoring three goals. His route to first-team football, however, ran through a string of loan spells. Across those years in Lyon's colours he made just one senior Ligue 1 appearance.

Lyon released him in November 2024, and he moved on as a free agent to US Orléans, making 40 appearances and scoring four goals for the club. That run of games formed the basis for his move to Guingamp, whom he joined on a four-year contract.

Sanchez Da Silva's development was also tracked at international youth level with France, where he collected caps and goals for the under-16, under-19 and under-20 sides between 2019 and 2023, including two goals in three appearances for the under-16s. He has not featured for the senior French national team.
