Gangre and Nantes played out a 3-3 draw in Ligue 2 on Friday evening at Stade du Roudourou. The fourth round of the regular season produced six goals in as many half-hours before both sides settled for a point each.
S. Ben Brahim opened the scoring in the ninth minute, and D. Gomis equalised six minutes later. W. Younoussa restored Gangre's lead at the interval with a second goal in the 22nd minute, and then added another in the 49th to extend the advantage. Nantes pulled one back through A. Joujou in the 85th minute before Gomis completed the comeback in stoppage time.
The home side controlled less of the ball but offered more in front of goal. Gangre held 40 per cent possession and registered seven shots on target, while Nantes dominated possession at 60 per cent but could only manage six on target. The visitors also missed a penalty in the 90th minute when Dylan Louiserre fired wide.
Both managers made several changes in the second half. Gangre brought on V. Muntu Wa Mungu and S. Kielt at the 58th minute, followed by F. Sanchez Da Silva and T. Averlant at 68 minutes. Nantes introduced D. Tabibou in the 79th minute and then made a double change at 88 minutes, with M. Cafaro and F. Guilbert coming off.
The result leaves Gangre 11th in the table with four points from four matches, moving them away from the drop zone. Nantes remain rooted to 18th place on a single point, having lost three of their four games this season.
