About the player
Finn Murre has never played a competitive senior match. He started out at VV Kloetinge before moving into Sparta Rotterdam's academy, where his development continued with Jong Sparta in the Tweede Divisie. He was named in the Eredivisie squad for Sparta's first team on three occasions, a recognition that stopped short of an actual debut.
The turning point came with the move to HSV Hoek in the Derde Divisie, a free transfer that gave him the one thing his time at Sparta had not: a starting shirt. He became the club's first-choice goalkeeper and was part of the side that won the Derde Divisie title. His contract there was extended more than once.
Each of the moves in his career so far — from Kloetinge to Sparta, from Sparta to Hoek, and now from Hoek to Den Bosch — has been completed without a transfer fee changing hands.
He is left-footed and stands 194 cm tall. He has not featured for the Netherlands at any representative level to date.
