About the player
The pattern was set early. On his senior debut for Maldon & Tiptree in November 2021, he scored inside six minutes of his first league appearance, in a 3–3 draw against Dereham Town. 14 appearances and a goal during a loan at Aveley, 19 National League outings for Braintree Town in 2024–25, then a move to Yeovil Town in March 2025 that brought ten appearances and another goal. He returned to Braintree on loan last August, only for Colchester to recall him early, in December 2025.
At club level, Terry made his senior Colchester debut in the EFL Trophy against Cambridge United in October 2023, a game the club won 2–1. His League Two debut came later, on 4 January 2025, starting in a 2–0 defeat to Accrington Stanley. Colchester have backed him with a first professional contract and a subsequent two-year renewal in 2024, and he has since built up 16 league appearances for the club alongside cup outings in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy, without yet scoring for the first team.
He is the nephew of former England internationals John Terry and Paul Konchesky.
