Gleofilo Sabrino Rudewald Hasselbaink Vlijter

Gleofilo Vlijter's record as a scorer for Suriname stands out: he is the country's all-time leading goalscorer in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, with 12 goals. He made his international debut in 2015 and has since won 34 caps and scored 15 goals. He was the top scorer in the 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League B with 10 goals.

His route into football ran through S.V. Robinhood in Suriname, followed by a year at the Phoenix All Stars Football Academy in Jamaica and a return to Robinhood. In 2018 he joined the youth setup of Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in Israel, then made his senior start at Torpedo Kutaisi in Georgia, where he scored once in three appearances.

His breakthrough at club level came at Aris Limassol in Cyprus. In 2019–20 he scored 15 goals in 19 appearances, and in 2019 he was named Surinamese Footballer of the Year. That form took him to Beitar Jerusalem in 2020. He made 49 appearances there and scored six goals, a lower return than in Cyprus.

He found his scoring touch again on loan at Hapoel Ramat Gan, with 13 goals in 32 games in 2022–23. After a move back to Cyprus with Doxa Katokopias, he spent 2024 at VPS in Finland, where he scored three goals in 15 games. A move to OFK Beograd followed later that year and brought 10 goals in 32 appearances in Serbia.

In July 2025 he signed for Újpest in Hungary. His career has taken him through six countries, and it has not yet brought a major team title.
