Gleb Shevchenko

Gleb Shevchenko moved into Russian football in January 2023, when Torpedo Moscow paid Shakhter Soligorsk around €300,000 for the right-back, and he has since made himself a regular starter for the club in the Russian First League. His contract in Moscow runs until 2028, and in the 2024/2025 season he played 24 matches, scoring three goals and setting up another.

Shevchenko came through at Slavia Mozyr, where he spent four years between 2016 and 2020 and made 94 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven goals. He was part of the side that won the Belarusian First League in 2018. In January 2021 he moved to Shakhter Soligorsk for a fee of around €100,000, and over two years there he added a further 66 appearances and a goal, while winning the Belarusian Premier League in both 2021 and 2022, along with the Belarusian Super Cup in 2021 and 2023.

He has also represented Belarus at international level, coming up through the under-18, under-19 and under-21 sides before making his senior debut on 2 June 2021 against Azerbaijan. He has since featured in UEFA Nations League and World Cup 2022 qualifying matches for the national team.
