Ivan Ćalušić

Ivan Ćalušić started out at HNK Hajduk Split as a boy before moving to the RNK Split academy at 14, where he spent six years before returning to Hajduk in 2020. His path back to the first team came through a loan spell at NK Radomlje in 2022, where he made 18 appearances and scored twice while Hajduk's senior side had little use for him.

A permanent move to NK Istra 1961 in the summer of 2023 gave him a settled run of football, with around 38 to 40 appearances across two seasons before his contract there was mutually terminated in July 2025. He went back to Radomlje on a free transfer that same month and made close to twenty appearances before Celje came in for him in January 2026, paying a fee reported at around €300,000, later said to have risen to €400,000 with bonuses, for a contract running until 2028. The move reunited him with his older brother, Josip Ćalušić, who had previously played for Celje.

At international level, Ćalušić represented Croatia at Under-17 level, reaching the final of the 2022 Telki Cup in Hungary, where Croatia finished second, and appearing as a substitute against England at the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, also held in Hungary.

He has continued in that role into the current campaign, featuring in both the league and the Champions League.
