Ivan Dolček

Ivan Dolček's biggest test came far from home. Sent on loan to Dundee United in the summer of 2025 by DAC Dunajská Streda, he spent the 2025–2026 season making the Scottish Premiership his own, scoring five goals in 28 appearances and picking up the league's Player of the Month award for August 2025. By September, reports suggested Dundee United and DAC had agreed a fee to make the move permanent, though the transfer was never completed.

Dolček's route there ran through some of Croatia's biggest clubs without him quite settling at any of them. He joined Dinamo Zagreb's youth setup in 2011 after coming through smaller sides in his home region, but his senior career took shape at Slaven Belupo, where he made his debut in 2017. A move to Hajduk Split in July 2019 brought two Croatian Cups, in 2021–22 and 2022–23, and the Croatian Super Cup in 2023. Loan spells to Famalicão and back to Šibenik punctuated those years at Hajduk, with the Šibenik stint in particular yielding a productive return of five goals in 29 games.

His move to DAC Dunajská Streda in January 2024 was followed almost immediately by another loan, this time back to Slaven Belupo, where he scored three goals in 31 appearances during the 2024–2025 season. Dolček has represented Croatia at every youth level from under-18 to under-23, though a senior cap has so far eluded him.
