I. Mbaye

Ibrahim Mbaye's rise at Paris Saint-Germain moved fast: a senior debut off the bench against Le Havre in August 2024, and within two years a goal that won the club a league title. Born in Trappes, he joined the PSG academy in 2018 after coming through the youth ranks at ES Guyancourt and Versailles, and he wore the number 49 shirt as he broke into the first-team picture as a right winger.

His first senior goal came in a 6–1 win over Saint-Étienne in March 2025, and he added further contributions in a 5–0 victory over Rennes and the opening goal in a friendly against Manchester United. The high point arrived in May 2026, when he scored in stoppage time in a 2–0 away win at Lens that secured the Ligue 1 title for PSG.

Mbaye also gained experience on the European stage, making his Champions League debut as a substitute in a 4–0 win over Atalanta before starting in a 2–1 victory against Barcelona. He featured as a substitute in the win over Atlético Madrid at the Club World Cup and in the Super Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur, and he made his Coupe de France debut in a 7–0 win against Stade Briochin. He is a Senegalese international, right-footed and right-sided by trade.

In September 2026, Mbaye left PSG for Aston Villa, taking the number 19 shirt at his new club.
