Ivan Ostojić

Ivan Ostojić's career has been a tour of Central and Northern Europe, built almost entirely on free transfers rather than fees.

Spells at Spartak Myjava and Cypriot side Karmiotissa followed before a move to Dukla Prague in 2017. He returned to Serbia with Radnički Niš, then in 2020 joined HJK Helsinki, where he collected a domestic double, the Veikkausliiga title and the Finnish Cup, in his one season at the club. A second stint with Javor Ivanjica in Serbia preceded the move that has defined the later part of his career.

In July 2021 Ostojić signed a three-year contract with Baltika Kaliningrad in Russia. He was made captain in July 2022 and wore the armband as the club finished runners-up in the FNL in 2022/23, securing promotion to the Russian Premier League. The following season he led Baltika to the final of the Russian Cup, where they lost to Zenit Saint Petersburg. He left the club in 2024 and signed for Napredak Kruševac as a free agent that July.

Despite a career spent largely as a leader on the pitch, Ostojić has not been capped by the Serbia national team at senior level.
