Ignacio Gariglio

Ignacio Gariglio spent a full year on the sidelines before his professional career had even started, after a severe injury in September 2018 — described as a trapped vein in his left leg — put him in hospital. He had joined Estudiantes de La Plata's youth ranks the previous year after coming through Deportivo Mac Allister, and it was not until December 2020 that he finally made his senior debut for the club, by which point he had already been sent out on loan to Arsenal de Sarandí.

There he added goals in the Copa Sudamericana against Real Tomayapo and Deportivo Cuenca, finishing the year with three goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.

Since then Gariglio has kept moving. A free transfer took him to Peru's Deportivo Garcilaso for the 2025 season, where he scored four times in 15 league games, before Bolivian club Bolívar signed him that July. He made five league appearances as Bolívar finished the 2025 Bolivian División Profesional as runners-up, with Always Ready taking the title. A year later he returned home, agreeing a free transfer to Deportivo Riestra on a contract running to the end of 2028. He has yet to win a major title or earn a call-up to the Argentina national team.
