Jack Winston De Vries

Jack Winston De Vries began his football education at RSC Anderlecht before returning to the United States to join the Philadelphia Union academy, where he progressed through Bethlehem Steel in the USL Championship. The Union rewarded him with a Homegrown Player contract, and he went on to make four first-team appearances in MLS.

His move to Europe came in August 2021, when Venezia took him on loan; the Italian club made the deal permanent the following year. De Vries was sent out on loan twice more — first to KTP Kotka in Finland, where he scored one goal and set up two others, then to Vis Pesaro in Serie C.

A necessary operation then kept him out of professional football for sixteen months. He returned to action in August 2025, joining FC Den Bosch in the Eerste Divisie. He has made nineteen appearances for the club, scoring twice and adding two assists, and his goal against Jong Ajax on 13 March 2026 came just 25 seconds after kick-off.

De Vries holds dual citizenship of the United States and the Netherlands and has represented the US at youth level, having been part of the squad at the 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship. Left-footed despite lining up on the right of the attack, he has scored six goals and provided four assists across his senior career to date.
